About

I’m Steve Cholerton from The Midlands in the United Kingdom. I use computers and technology. A lot.

Since the late 1980’s I have been heavily involved in Software Development, IT and Technology Management and Information Technology in general.

I am a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP), awarded by the British Computer Society, a Fellow of the Institution of Analysts and Programmers (FIAP), a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), ISC(2) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Security Professional (Security+), Certified Network Technician (Network+), Certified Internet Professional (iNet+), author of a couple of eBooks and several commercial Software Products.

I’m also a committed and passionate developer of Custom and Bespoke software for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android.

My day job is Head of IT / IT Manager for a manufacturer in the West Midlands.

I have a lot of other interests as well, Guitars, Music, Amateur Radio (M7DEV), and I will talk about some of them on here.

I cannot promise anything interesting but I have an urge to write sometimes and this seems as good a place as any.

My email address is stevecholerton@me.com
